PREGNANCY

“My overall experience with Holly has been Awesome! I sought out Holly after I had my first child due to my inability to walk. When I met Holly she was the first person to acknowledge what I was going through and was sympathetic. My very own OBGYN did not understand what kind of pain I was going through and kept trying to give me pain medications and refer me to psychologists. All I needed was my legs back! So through my frustrations I found Holly, and within 2 months or so I was walking normal and pain free! I also went through a lot of pain during intercourse postpartum, and through guidance from Holly and a few sessions that too was reversed. The lady is a miracle worker! I have since learned to relax, stretch, and use the exercises I have learned to overcome my problem. Thank you Holly!”

POSTPARTUM AND PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE

“After the Birth of my daughter I was having problems. Any time I tried to go back to exercising, my pelvis felt heavy and weak. It felt like something would just fall out of the bottom!! I talked to my OB/GYN and they told me I had mild organ prolapse, and that it would heal over time. 4 months after my delivery it was still not good.

Exercise is my stress relief, but I couldn’t do that because I was afraid of injuring myself, or causing something permanent. It was terrible. Everybody says that your body changes after childbirth, but I didn’t know it would be like this. I felt like I would just never get better.

When I heard about Relief Physical Therapy, I was amazed. I had never even been told about pelvic floor physical therapy, not even from my doctor. I met with Holly for my consult, and was so encouraged by what she told me. She helped me find exercises that were safe for me to start with, and taught me stretches and relaxation activities to help me balance out my body.

I was so excited when I started running again! I’m still building up my stamina, but it feels so good. I am so grateful to Holly for helping me get back to exercising. ”

PREGNANCY

“I was having back pain during my pregnancy. Everybody said that was normal. But I could barely walk, it hurt so bad. My sister had gotten help form a pelvic floor therapist where she lived. I found Relief Physical Therapy, and was so relieved. Holly has been a blessing. With her work and support my back pain was kept at bay throughout the whole pregnancy. She helped me manage my postpartum healing, and return to exercising and intercourse without pain. I’m so glad I listened to my sister, and found Relief.”

POSTPARTUM

“After having three babies in quick succession, I needed some help to relieve pain that I was having. Holly McDonald was amazing! She created a program that moved at a pace my body could handle. I started out with basic exercises that at a glance looked to be easy. However, with no core strength from being stretched out for so many months, the exercises were quite challenging. Each week Holly introduced several new exercises into my routine and she made sure I used proper form throughout each exercise. Week by week I got stronger and the exercises that were once challenging in the beginning became easy to do. After a few short months with Holly, I was feeling pain free, strong, and confident!”

URINARY LEAKS- POSTPARTUM

“I started having problems about 6 years ago. I just kept thinking it would heal, and everything would be okay. After about a year I thought it was just something I was going to have to live with. Thankfully, a friend told me about Holly. She was really listened to me and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about my symptoms. I feel so much better now! Thanks Holly!”
